MONTHLY OUTREACH OFFERINGS
Throughout the year, we offer our members an opportunity to contribute financially directly to an Outreach ministry or other particular need.
This invites us to live out our faith through our financial giving to others as well as to the work of our own parish community. Our Outreach Committee suggests a calendar of recipients to our Vestry (the parish board), which is approved for the year.
One Sunday each month, wicker baskets are passed at worship for contributions to these funds. During the designated month, donations can also be made by sending funds to the church office or placing a labeled giving envelope in the collection plate at any worship service.

January: COPE (Christian Outreach Program of Elkhorn) February: Clergy Relief Funds (special collections for the needs of the parish) March: Youth Group (Funds for our parish youth, camps, activities, scholarships) April: Magdalene Omaha (See "Outreach Programs") May: TBD June: COPE July: DEO (Downtown Episcopal Outreach) August: Benedictine Way/Incarnation Monastery September: Episcopal Relief and Development (national and international relief) October: TBD November: Western Douglas County Food Pantry Canned Goods Tree (winter meals) December: Magdalene House/Friends of Tamar (Ministry to Sexual Abuse Survivors) |
