A WELCOMING COMMUNITY
Hello! We’re glad you’ve found us online, and we’re glad to meet you and say a bit more about our church!
You’ll find it hard to visit us on Sunday morning without a handful of people introducing themselves to you and saying hello. We gather Sunday morning each week to hear lessons from scripture, say prayers, and celebrate Holy Communion, either at an 8:30 service with music by our praise band, or at a 10:30 service with organ and hymns.
All are welcome here.
Our mission is “to be a growing, faithful, inclusive, and caring community committed to the ministry and teachings of Jesus Christ,” and we live that out throughout the year! We invite people to volunteer for various ministries and drives, including work with the Christian Outreach Program of Elkhorn (COPE), food ministries, and drives for supplies and care packages for various groups. We love to have people jump in and help, and you won’t be here long before you have a chance to volunteer with a project.
We are also serious about continuing growth at all ages. Our Sunday School programs start at age 3, and some of our Bible studies and DVD groups have members in their 90’s attending regularly. We get together for classes, Bible studies, and book clubs in the day and the evenings to give everyone a chance to grow. For our youth during the school year, we hold Sunday morning Sunday School, and a Wednesday evening youth group for youth in grades 6-12.
The best way to get to know us is to come visit, of course! We’d love to meet you and hear more about what God is doing with you these days.
