SUNDAY WORSHIP
We have two services on Sunday morning.
Each service includes readings from the Bible, a sermon, prayers, and Holy Communion each week. We serve Holy Communion in bread and wine, and have gluten free wafers for those who need them (simply say "gluten free, please" when you reach the ministers at the front during communion). All of our services are from the Book of Common Prayer and other worship materials of the Episcopal Church.
We take up a collection at each service, which is an opportunity for members to offer their pledge during worship, or to offer a donation towards the ministries of our parish. On the first Sunday of every month, we take up special First Sunday Offerings for outreach ministries and other projects the parish has engaged in.
8:30AM Our 8:30 service includes folk, praise, and gospel songs led by guitar, keyboard, mandolin, and drums.
10:30AM Our 10:30 service includes hymns, organ music and offerings by the Canterbury Choir. Youth acolytes assist with service duties, along with adult readers, Eucharistic ministers, ushers, and musicians. Our Canterbury Choir meets throughout the program year from September to May, and prepares offertory anthems and assists with leading hymns.
The 10:30 service is also streamed Sunday mornings through our Facebook Page. Our page is set to public, so you do not need to have a Facebook account to watch. (If you are prompted to sign in, you should be able to close that window, and scroll down our page to the Live Video.)
