FIRST SUNDAY OFFERINGS

Throughout the year, we offer our members an opportunity to contribute financially directly to an Outreach ministry or other particular need.

This invites us to live out our faith through our financial giving to others as well as to the work of our own parish community. Our Outreach Committee suggests a calendar of recipients to our Vestry (the parish board), which is approved for the year.

For 2022, recipients and funds have been designated as:

January: COPE (West Douglas County ministries) 
February: Youth Fund (Camp and Event Scholarships)​
March: DEO (Downtown Episcopal Outreach) Meals at Trinity Cathedral
April: United Thank Offering
May:  Bishop’s Discretionary Fund (Relief throughout Nebraska)
June:  COPE (Christian Outreach Program Elkhorn) Special Projects
July:  Native American Textbook Fund (School support to Creighton students)
August:  Formation/Seminarian Fund
September: Episcopal Relief and Development (national and international relief)
October:  Magdalene House/Friends of Tamar (Ministry to Sexual Abuse Survivors)
November: Dean Fricke Pantry
December: Western Douglas County Food Pantry Canned Goods Tree (winter meals)
