CAPITAL CAMPAIGN
We’re in an exciting time! Over the past several years, we identified some real growth needs, especially for our youth program, and have begun building for our future. Although we have always been proud that -- like Jesus -- our church was "born in a barn," we decided that -- again, like Jesus -- we needed to move out of it to enter the next chapters of our ministry together, and we have built new spaces to live, work, play, and serve in!
In 2019, we launched the "Our Roots, Our Family, Our Future" campaign. This 36-month campaign ran from June 2019 to May 2022, and successfully built new classrooms, a parish hall, and offices for our growing parish to use in the next chapters of our life as a church. We partnered with Church Development to manage our campaign, RDG Planning and Design to complete our plans, and MCL as our general contractor, and were able to complete our project on time and under budget. A Friends and Family campaign helped invite parish "alums" and others to help us be incredibly successful. Our new spaces opened in August 2021, and we have been using them steadily ever since to offer classes, events, ministries, and space for all kinds of groups in and beyond our parish to gather. We completed the project in May 2022 with stronger than expected fundraising, and in a great position for the coming years!
We are presently in a Year Four campaign extension from June 2022 to May 2023 to continue supporting our project, and it is still possible to make a pledge to support our growing church by contacting the parish office at 402-289-4058.
We will update here, as well as through our weekly email and bulletin to ensure you are always aware of progress as we move into this exciting new journey! If you would like more information, please contact Fr Ben through our parish office.
